GIFT GUIDE | Christmas gift ideas.

Here are a few items that I think would be great presents for Christmas.

For beauty lovers

I think any kind of high end or well known lipstick would be such a good little present. Some of my favourites are the Audacious lipsticks by Nars (I have the shade Liv in the images above) or if you want to go for an even higher end lipstick I would recommend the newly launched Tom Ford Lips and Boys collection with 50 shades of small lipsticks, perfect for makeup addicts! If you're not into giving a lipstick as a gift I would also recommend makeup brushes. My all time favourite is the Nars Ita.

For jewellery lovers

For anyone into minimal silver jewellery like me then I think pieces like these would be a lovely little gift. There are so many places you could shop for this type of jewellery, my favourite though is Bing Bang. There rings are stunning and they have such a wide variety of styles for anyone, their website is 100% worth checking out. I also recently got this lovely Artikel knot bracelet in the post which I have already fallen in love with! You can buy one at Darley Avenue. For my a necklace I would highly suggest this amazing marble one I have from Whistles. I am a sucker for anything marble and silver so this was love at first sight!

For minimal lovers

A Diptyque mini candle, they all smell divine! And for a reasonable £20 I think it would be a perfect give to sit on somebodys desk and look pretty. Anyone who knows me will know I am addicted to coffee, so when I found this C1 coffee with the most perfectly minimal black and white packaging I knew I had to try it, this is also available on Darley Avenue and would be great accompanied with a nice little mug.
If you haven't seen the How to Be Parisian book plastered all over Instagram the past year then I don't know where you have been! this book is so funny and actually a really interesting read (a new popular book similar to this is the Love, Style, Life book by Garance Dore which is also on my wishlist).

Splurge Items

If you are really looking to spoil somebody this year then I would suggest a nice perfume or card holder. For a perfume, I like sweet scents so some of my go to fragrances are Flowerbomb and Funfair evening. For a more mature scent, Tom Ford perfumes would be perfect.
To me, a card holder is the perfect way for somebody to have something from their favourite high end brand without breaking the bank. At the moment I have an Acne Studios one which I couldn't live without but you could buy one from anywhere from Whistles (who also have some amazing ones for great prices) to Chanel.

Just a little mention to my Gift box I have also created with Darley Avenue if you didn't see my previous post. Take a look because I really think that would be a great little present for somebody and for only £45 it is a total steal!

Hope this post has helped some of you with ideas on what to buy this year,
Happy shopping!

GIFT GUIDE | DARLEYAVENUE X STEVIE-ROSERAY.

I am super excited to tell you all about a little collaboration I have been working on with Darley Avenue. I've been a big fan of their website and modern, sleek gift boxes for a while now so being able to come up with my own is so lovely.
This is the DARLEYAVENUE X STEVIE-ROSERAY gift box featurning a few of my favourite products from thier site. In my opinion, this would be such a lovely gift for a monochrome, minimal lover like me!

The box includes-

L:A Bruket Lemongrass Handcream 70ml
Hopscotch London Lemongrass Candle
'Less is More' Keyring
Dear Maison Marble Planner

and will be £45 which is an absolute bargain for such a well made box.
If you're interested in buying one, they will be available to buy from www.shopdarleyavenue.co.uk
tomorrow after around 7pm.

ACCESSORIES | Bag Spill.

Here is a little look at the main items I carry around with me at all times.
First off, I bought this bag around four days ago and I am literally in love with it. It's from H&M and only £19.99! Such a bargain, I know!
So, as with most people I obviously cannot go a second without my phone. The case I have was a gift from my boyfriend from Case Scenario (you can't go wrong with a marble effect). I always have to carry a powder with me for my oily skin, at the moment I am using the Marc Jacobs powder with my Nars brush. I've also found a little and very cheap dupe of my favourite perfume Flowerbomb, It's called 'Oreintal' one of Zaras own brand perfumes. It is around £3 for a roller small size so well worth the money and so much easier to carry around.
I am always, always writing lists. So when I was gifted this little black note book from Nomadic I was delighted to be able to pop it into my bag to jot down everyday things. Of course eyeliner, concealer and an everyday lipstick are two things I always chuck in my bag. Usually 'Fresh Brew' by Mac or 'Deborah' by Nars.
Last but not at all least is my beloved Alexander Wang purse. I could never live without it!

EVENING OUT | Outfit Post.

Yesterday evening I went out for a meal with a few of my work friends for one of their birthdays. We went for a lovely little meal in a restaurant called Gusto in Liverpool. If you're ever in Liverpool I would really recommend going here, the food is amazing!
I wore my favourite dress at the moment, an Asos petite wrap dress and some mid heeled sandals from Miss Selfridge. Such a simple outfit to wear but I think it looks quite casual/dressy which is what I wanted.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

TODAY | Outfit post.

Today Gary and I went into town to do a little bit of shopping. I wore blue jeans (yes, BLUE) and my absolute favourite white shirt. I've decided recently to branch out in colour when it comes to clothing. Well, I say colour but to me that means blue denim and grey t-shirts...
The shirt I am wearing is from the Topshop maternity section. I got it in a size 8 as it was the smallest size they had but it is made out of the softest material and doesn't look bad when it creases.
The bucket bag is what I actually bought today from H&M (a £19.99 bargain!) and decided I needed to wear it as soon as I got out of the shop. I've been lusting over so many high end bucket bags for a long time and saw this and needed it. Sandals are from Office and the cateye sunglasses are from Asos.
P.S As you have probably noticed I have had all of my hair chopped off. I'm in love with a good top knot especially on girls with short hair so I actually think it looks quite cool. What do you think?
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

NEW IN | Stan Smith

So, everyone is jumping on the Stan Smith bandwagon and now so am I. Such a simple and classic trainer that can be paired with so many outfits. I finally found a black and white pair after searching high and low for months. I did originally want to buy a pair with a black tab instead of the usual navy, green or red but had no luck. Therefore, I bought a pair of Adidas Rod Laver trainers which are really simalar but haven't got an adidas logo on. Today I found these beauties in Urban Outfitters and it was love at first sight.
